Life Continues
As per usual I've not been able to keep up this 'blogging' business on
a regular basis. However much I'd like to be able to write insightful
and imaginative blog posts the simple fact is that, regardless of what
else I've got to do, I never actually get around to writing them.
Since I last posted much of my time has been spent working on SUE...and work continues although it has a tendency to become side tracked by small but interesting (and not alltogether unconnected) diversions like:
So I have a long 'to-do' list for SUE that I'm slowly but surely making my way through - and trying very hard to avoid going off on a tangent to another project.
Watching: 'Pierrepoint' - The true-life story of Albert Pierrepoint, Britain most well known hangman. OK so its probably not the happiest film you'll ever see but it is well worth watching. It manages to avoid moralising and treats both the man and the subject matter in a very even handed way.
Reading: 'Ogg' by Robert Jones - I've only just started reading it but any book that makes reference to 'killer sheep' has to be worth looking into :)
Listening: 'Go - The Very Best of Moby' - I only got this because I wanted one track from it ('God Moving Over The Face of The Waters' is just superb). I think there's quite a lot of Moby's tracks that could make their way onto a 'best of' album but I'm not sure that many of these tracks are those - although they're all of a reasonable quality.

- Can I use Eclipse for PHP development? (Yes...but its not as good as it could be).
- Are there any refactoring tools for PHP? (From what I can tell...No - at least not any that include the word 'free').
