My main reason for starting this site is that, as someone who has been studying, programming and generally interested in Artificial Intelligence for almost a decade I am frequently asked to explain what A.I. is, what it's useful for and how it works (along with countless questions about robots, world domination and "have I seen the film"). I have therefore taken it upon myself to actively promote the cause and use of A.I. and its related areas through this site.
I hope that this site will, in time, become a good source of information on the subject for anyone interested in learning the theories involved in A.I., the possible practical applications and the social dilemmas that Intelligent Systems might cause in the future.
